Our consultants have recently completed a root and branch security assessment on a multi occupancy residence in South West London.
The prestigious apartment block with 48 residents had recently suffered a series of thefts and burglaries along with incidents of anti-social behaviour.
Although the property had some physical security controls, these were last reviewed over 8 years previously and were not effective and strong enough to deal with incidents that were becoming more frequent.
Aldermans were contracted by the building’s property management company and tasked to provide a detailed security risk assessment for the property and an overarching security plan consisting of solutions, risk treatments and a tailor-made security strategy for the building and it's people.
Following several site visits, meetings with current residents, maintenance personnel and other key persons involved in the day to day running of the building and its protection, we prepared a lengthy document of our observations, risk analysis, and critical assessment, which included previous security policies and documents relating to lapse in security protocols and poor security management.
The security assessment was presented to the property managers along with our recommendations concerning the renewal of hardware, fused with state-of-the-art security technology, integrated with enhanced management software and security policies, which also incorporated contracts, maintenance plans and review strategies to ensure the security systems provided effective and robust security 24/7.
The building and its wealthy occupants deserved to feel protected and have the benefit of strong security protecting their property, assets, and wellbeing.
